In a world grappling with economic uncertainty, job instability, and business disruptions, Bishop Bolu Martins, founder of Treasuredlife Family Church, has delivered a commanding blueprint for unstoppable success. Addressing a gathering of professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders at the church’s Marketplace Sunday, he unveiled the timeless principles that separate the struggling from the thriving, the ordinary from the extraordinary, the forgotten from the sought-after.
A Call to Excellence in the Workplace
Marketplace Sunday, held every second Sunday, is a time of reflection on work, business, and professional purpose. Bishop Martins emphasized that work is not just a necessity but a divine calling that must be nurtured with diligence.
"Your workplace is your garden; tend to it, nurture it, and invest in it," he declared. "What you sow today will determine your future."
Prophesying over the congregation, he affirmed:
- “You will leave your job on your own terms.”
- “Your career will expand beyond your imagination.”
- “Promotion and success will follow your diligence.”
- “Even if you lose a job unfairly, you will rise higher.”
Encouraging believers to embrace excellence, he stated, "If you invest in doing good for others, it will ultimately benefit you."
God’s Blueprint for Work and Success
Referencing Genesis 2:15, Bishop Martins emphasized that God's original plan for humanity included work, making diligence a divine expectation.
"Your work must not wither in your hands. God expects you to cultivate and sustain what He has given you," he said.
Quoting Isaiah 60:1-5 and Joshua 1:8, he declared that those who align their work with divine wisdom will experience supernatural breakthroughs.
"The word of God is the most powerful tool for success. Professional knowledge may fail, but divine wisdom never does," he asserted.
Diligence: The Currency of the Marketplace
Bishop Martins stressed that all work is valuable when done with excellence, citing Proverbs 22:29: “Do you see a man diligent in his work? He will stand before kings.”
"Whatever your hands find to do, do it well," he urged. "Be faithful, innovative, and work with integrity. These virtues will set you apart and attract honor to your name."
Warning against shortcuts and compromises, he encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast:
"Others may take shortcuts—don’t join them. Others may compromise—stand firm in righteousness. If you follow God’s principles, you will rise above them all."
A Prophetic Declaration for 2025
In a charged atmosphere, Bishop Martins led the congregation in prophetic declarations over their careers and businesses.
"As you enter the marketplace, doors will open for you. Obstacles will be removed. Favor will follow you wherever you go," he decreed. "Where others struggle, you will experience ease. Every mountain before you shall become a plain."
The congregation echoed his words, claiming the blessings for their lives.
Salvation: The Ultimate Key to Success
Bishop Martins concluded with a powerful reminder that true success begins with a relationship with Christ.
"What seems difficult for others becomes easy when you walk with God," he said. "If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, now is the time."
A Call to Growth and Mastery
He recommended two books for spiritual and professional growth:
- The Gospel of Luke – A biblical guide to faith and diligence.
- Taking God at His Word by Kevin DeYoung – A book on trusting God's promises.
As the service ended, the atmosphere was charged with faith and expectation, as attendees left empowered to conquer their careers and businesses with diligence, integrity, and divine favor.
