Glitch Africa, Nedu Wazobia & VeryDarkMan: The Podcast Industry Just Got Exposed!

By Ephraim Agbo

Alright, this Nigerian podcast drama is getting hotter than Lagos traffic in July.

What started as a casual guest appearance on The Honest Bunch has now spiraled into a full-blown industry exposé, with allegations of bribery, scripted interviews, media manipulation, and scandalous personal relationships.

VDM (VeryDarkMan) is leading the charge, and if even half of what he’s saying is true, then Glitch Africa and its podcasts have some serious explaining to do.

So, let’s break it all down. What’s really happening? Who’s lying? And is the Nigerian podcast industry nothing more than reality TV with mics?

VDM vs. Nedu: The Podcast Industry’s Biggest Scandal Yet?

This all kicked off when comedian Deeone went on The Honest Bunch podcast and casually accused VDM of being gay. Of course, VDM wasn’t having it.

He clapped back hard and dropped bombshell allegations:

  1. Nedu Wazobia offered him a whole car just to appear on the podcast. (Wait, a car? Not cash? A WHOLE VEHICLE?!)
  2. The podcast isn’t about “honest conversations” but is scripted and manipulated for views.
  3. Deeone later admitted the whole thing was staged to trap VDM.

Now, let’s pause. If Deeone himself is saying this was a setup, what does that say about Nedu and the so-called “Honest” Bunch?

Nedu "Steps Down" – But Was He Really Sacked?

After VDM’s allegations caught fire, Nedu suddenly announced he was “stepping down” from The Honest Bunch. His reason?

"To protect my peace of mind and the integrity of the show."

Integrity? This same show where guests are allegedly set up for controversy and manipulated for clout?

VDM wasn’t buying it, and neither is the internet. His response?

"You weren’t protecting anything. YOU WERE KICKED OUT."

So, the real question is: Did Nedu quit, or did Glitch Africa cut him off to save their brand?

Glitch Africa: The Puppet Masters of Nigerian Podcasts?

VDM didn’t stop there. He went on to expose the entire system at Glitch Africa, claiming:

  • They bribe guests to appear on their shows.
  • They edit and twist interviews to push fake narratives.
  • They don’t care about real conversations—just clicks and engagement.

Even Saida Boj, another guest, confirmed that her interview was edited to paint a false picture.

So at this point, we have multiple people coming forward to say: Glitch Africa podcasts aren’t about truth—they’re reality shows with a script.

VDM Drops the Wildest Bombshell Yet: Nedu & The Ladies

Now, let’s talk about the real jaw-dropper.

VDM went on record saying that Nedu has allegedly “made out” with all the ladies who appeared on his podcast.

ALL. OF. THEM.

Whew.

Now, if true, this changes everything. This isn’t just about fake narratives or clickbait—it’s about power dynamics, exploitation, and abuse of influence.

If Nedu doesn’t come out and clear the air on this immediately, it could permanently destroy his credibility.

Glitch Africa’s Silence—Calculated or Just Guilty?

Meanwhile, Glitch Africa is saying NOTHING. No official statements, no explanations—just complete silence while the internet burns with speculation.

If all this is false, why aren’t they speaking up?
If it’s true, how many more people have been manipulated?

At this point, their silence is looking like an admission of guilt.

Final Thoughts: Are Nigerian Podcasts Just Clout Machines?

This entire saga has shaken the Nigerian podcast industry to its core.

  • Are these platforms still about real conversations, or have they turned into engagement farms that thrive on fake scandals?
  • Are guests actually sharing their truth, or are they being used as pawns in a bigger game?
  • Is this the end of Nedu’s media career, or is there more to the story?

Either way, this controversy isn’t dying down anytime soon.

What do you think? Is VDM exposing the dark secrets of the industry, or is he just another player in the clout-chasing game?
